Tia Watson

Triathlete

Tia (a.k.a Little Wolf) at 18, is a free spirited, confident and independent young woman. Her passion is triathlon, where she prefers longer distances and trains hard with determination and commitment for her goals, often winning podium places.

As well as racing solo, she also embraces inclusion, to make sure that her big brother, Rio (a person with disabilities) is included in everything in life, especially inclusive racing in triathlons.

Racing with inclusion, Tia and Rio, together have achieved:

  • Official World Record for completing a sprint distance triathlon, when Tia was only 11 years old and Rio was 14.

  • Guinness World Record title “Fastest time to complete an Olympic distance triathlon whilst carrying a person”, when Tia was 16 and Rio was 19.

  • In 2024, when Tia was 18 and Rio was 21, they completed the Dubai T100 … waiting for Guinness World record approval for the title “fastest time to complete a T100 triathlon while carrying a person”!

For triathlon, Tia is now training under coach Lottie Lucas of Fawz Concept.

As part of her entrepreneurial journey, Tia presents Impact Talks to schools and corporates, locally and internationally, to audiences of over 1,000+; presenting solo or co-presenting with her father, sharing the story of Rio, how Team AngelWolf came to be, overcoming challenges, discovering potential and the importance of not giving up.

#BeAnIncluder #LeaveNobodyOut

Tia is a big fan of the OTE Sports Energy Chew Strawberry flavour!
